Lighted Makeup Mirrors
For Airbrushed Makeup and
Brush-on Makeup

Handcrafted in hardwood in the style of Hollywood and Broadway.

I make the lighted makeup mirrors as a labor of love. Each mirror takes a good day to make and finish. No one else is offering anything like them. The six and eight light mirrors are used by professional makeup artists and some reside on vanity tables for home use.

The lighted makeup mirrors reflect true skin tones and makeup colors. I include "true white" bulbs (GE Reveal™ or Westinghouse Daylight) because standard bulbs cast a yellow hue.

Every salon that I've visited that sells makeup or skin care services has terrible lighting or tiny lighted makeup mirrors. Make your clients feel like stars, become a star makeup artist, or feel like a star at home. Purchase a 6 or 8 light handcrafted lighted makeup mirror.

The photo shows smaller 40 watt daylight bulbs. A few people have said that the larger 40 watt globe shaped bulbs are better. They disperse the light better and feel cooler. I thought that the size would be out of proportion to the mirror but it works just fine. Your preference.

The new 4-light substitutes exotic wood (Bloodwood in the photo) for the chrome light bars. I have to mount and wire four ceramic sockets one by one. The bulbs are a smaller daylight type than I use with the 6 and 8 light mirrors. It keeps the proportions. This mirror glass is 10" wide by 12" tall. It's the right dimension for a small mirror. The mirror breaks down easily for transportation by unscrewing the four brushed chrome knobs. I think everything will fit into a laptop computer case. I'll investigate it this week. The mirror is $345. The individual sockets, extra knobs, and exotic wood bring my costs close to the other two mirrors. It takes me longer to make this mirror than the other two. I've seen ordinary round metal framed, halo light mirrors on the Web for $500. This is so much nicer for $345!
